At 7% ABV and 70 IBU, Tie Seven On is built with seven malts and seven hops, and fermented with seven different strains of brettanomyces. Pours hazy solar yellow with a frothy porcelain head that hangs around for just a bit. Aroma features sour stone fruit and citrus plus subtle woody hops and raw malt. Flavor yields much more hops, more resiny than woody, as well as stronger and more tart citrus and stone fruit, a bit more malt, a nice grapefruit finish. Texture delivers fairly firm and smooth body and jazzy fizz. Another seven years, hell - here's to another seven decades!
