Dinner For One. Such a lonely name, but such a tasty beer. The latest hoppy release from Monday Night Brewing, this spelt IPA uses spelt, Pilsner malt and torrified wheat. Mosaic, Motueka and Hallertau Blanc hops combine for a citrusy background. The result? A rustic, smooth IPA that's the perfect pair for ramen noodles, tv dinners and boxed mac and cheese.

Pours clear solar yellow with a thick and frothy snowy head. Aroma yields lemony citrus, resiny hops and fresh malt, demanding a taste. Flavor gives up resiny hops, tangy citrus - lemon tone still there - and zesty fresh malt. Er, spelt? Spelt and malt, and a bit of wheat. Texture provides fair body and peppy fizz. Don't be lonely, have a glass.
