Bottled (thanks omhper!). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is alcohol, ashes, some muscovado, mild liquorice, toffee and mild spices. Flavour is strong on tobacco and ashes along with roasted malts and some bitterness. Flavour is quite empty compared to the aroma.

Pours out in a black colopur with a rich tan-coloured foam. Black chocolate, black olives, mild rubber, anise, chocolate sauce, burnt malts and burnt caramel. Nearly full-bodied with notes of black chocolate, burnt malts, brown muscavado sugar, mild honey and anise. Mild carbonation. Long, if a bit too sweet finish of brown sugar, black chocolate, chocolate sauce, mild honey and caramel. Bold flavours and extremely well-hidden alcohol.
