Moa original (red label) is méthode made pilsner style lager which has an abundance of hoppy notes that give the impression of sweet fruit, grassy overtones and a balanced astringency that is complex and pleasing to the nose. The palate is fruity with a little spiciness and a balanced hop flower bitterness that has a very long lasting finish. This beer is enjoyed with many foods from big game to pasta dishes or equally enjoyed on its own.

Nice medium amber pour with medium white head and good lacing. Malty and sweet aroma with earthy hops. Taste is somewhat smooth with a decent malts and hops balance.

Hazy pale gold; big frothy head, not unlike a hefe. Good bubbles Smells of green herbs, fruit, light candy note, and some sulfur. Flavours are richly, freshly, hop driven.... I guess it's something like "Nelson Sauvin" or similar NZ variety. Grassy, vegetatious.... which balances the sweetish malt very nicely. Medium bitterness, and a good full palate, rounds off a well balanced beer.
