A dark lager. Chocolate and richly roasted coffee beans dominate the senses. A full flavoured palate gives Moa dark a long smooth finish.

It pours a very dark brownish-red with a thick light-tan head and copious lacing. An aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, orange and citrus, light molasses, and light spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of roasted malts, light chocolate, coffee, hops, oranges, bitterness, molasses, nuttiness, and light spices. Excellent - all around solid!

Pours a slightly hazy warm brown with a decent, if not persistent, pale tan head. Aroma is malty and just slightly nutty, not strong but still inviting. Flavor is malty with nutty and hoppy hints - not wonderful, but enjoyable nevertheless. Texture is smooth and fizzy, leaving a bit of a tingle behind, along with a hint of hops.

Clear dark amber pour with a nice head and some lacing. Sweet and toasted malts with a slight fruitiness in the aromas along with a dose of hops. Taste is smooth almost creamy with nice toasted malts, some fruitiness and hops.

This American Dark Lager pours a deep brown color from a 33cl. bottle. Medium to large sized beige foamy head. Good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is dark malt, caramel and slightly sweet. Medium bodied dark beer. The malts are slightly roasty, touch of chocolate and dark fruit. The hops are earthy and slightly spicy. This beer reminds me a little of some of the dark beers I drank way back in the old days. A little darker malts, slightly more flavor and body than the lighter stuff. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Nothing really outstanding here, but it is a very nice drinkable beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Lovely dark browny/red. Good heavy & persistent beige head. Roasted aromas, hints of coffee icecream. Deep, complex malty flavours, with some gamey, nutmeg notes. Great challenger to the German dunkels.
