Misson Blonde Kolsch-Style Ale - With the color of a pilsner and the character of an ale, our blonde settles into the realm of restorative. Endowed with an authentic kolsch yeast strain for a peck of fruitiness that compliments the blend of noble hops. Lager-like with its delicate dryness, it really is redolent of ales from Koln, Germany.

A murky straw colored beer with a small, two fingered sudsy textured off white head. The head settles fairly quickly. A rhin wispy ringlet is left behind. Muted nose. Grassy hops and lighter biscuit malts in an effervescent, refreshing beer.

Grainy with some crackers and grass. Biscuity through and through accented by mildly spicy hops and a minor fruitiness. Crisp light body, mellow hop bite, and very quenching. Half inch white head atop a clear yellow body with tight carbonation. Nice Kolsch.

Pretty standard fare, here. Expected from a blonde. light toast, a decent amount of floral hops, and a lack of body and finish catergorize this one. Ho hum.

This beer isn’t incredible, but it’s still a light, easy-drinking beer with a pleasing flavor. My biggest complaint is that the vinous flavor gets overshadowed by noble hop bitterness. I like the really grapey ones best, and while the aroma is nice and grapey, the hops overpower the vinous note once you take a sip. Also, the mouthfeel seems to be lacking the effervescence of more traditional versions. They need to crank up the carbonation. All that said, it would be a very nice session beer. It’s mildly sweet with a good hop bite in the finish and quite quaffable

I had the IPA once upon a time and found it enjoyable, so I figured I would try another from the same brewery. A light, sudsy, vigorously exploding collection of bubbles make up the head, and they fizzle out to nothing rather quickly. An opaque straw yellow color. Tastes of some light fruits (apples, green grapes, bananas). A mild sting of hops and a clean, dry finish complete this beer. Very well balanced. Easy-to-drink and gone before you know it.
