Our Doppelvision Doppelbock is a sweet malt forward lager with subtle hints of vanilla, coconut and bourbon from its one month of maturation in bourbon barrels. Ten varieties of malt come together to produce a smooth drinkable beer with notes of coffee, toffee and caramel.

On tap @ Milwaukee Ale House. Lawdy Miss Clawdy! This one rocks! Dark amber brown pour with a tall firm creamy head, beautiful lacing. Malt forward is right, caramel, toffee, then the Bourbon-ness kicks in a bit - light vanilla and a hint of Bourbon, this one is NOT for the Hop Heads as it is a Malt Bomb. Uber tasty SOB too. The ABV is very well hidden and sweetness and light Bourbon linger to create a dessert like residual mouthfeel - in a very good way. Helluva Doppelbock. Nice way to finish our lunch visit to the Milwaukee Ale House. (Eat on the patio if the weather permits.)
