Pilsner is simple, and yet complex. Its not easy to make a beer pure enough to really let the hops stand out, but that is the goal of our pilsner. We use Czech Saaz hops that are a delight to the senses and impart an arousing aroma and satisfying flavor. The end result is a full bodied beer that has a pleasing hoppy aftertaste.

amber, not much in the aroma, reminds me of the crap that fliies around when you are dumpin corn into the dryer. Decent body to it, kinda tastes like a granola bar is somewhere within it.

Peepee yellow like Lance's jersey. No head, no lacing no nada. Why do i dislike pilsners so much? Not sure, but it's gotta be something in the taste. Tastes like grain and corn. This is actually a pretty passable pils in my opinion. STarting to grow on me.......slowly..

The aroms is just what you'd expect from a Czech-style Pilsner -- mostly Saaz hops, and supportive malts lingering in the background. Hazy, golden body, with a very thin head. Unfortunately, the lacing is hardly worth a mention. The flavor score is a very solid "average" -- hops and malts are in good proportion for the style. This one would pair nicely with salty snacks and other munchies. Overall, this is a respectable German Pilsner. Cheers!

Very pale golden body that is clear as expected. The head is fizzy and fleeting, but none of the Millstream beers other than the John’s Generations had much in the head department. The smell is definitely saaz hops with not much else. The flavor is a dry pilsner malt with a touch of bitterness from the hops. This is really not bad for a pils, although there are better ones out there.

A cloudy yellow appearance. A hay and corn aroma. The brewery makes no wild claims even they call it simple and I would tend to agree. A pretty non existent flavor but nothing offensive either. A crisp aftertaste. A step beyond swill and little else.

The color is the standard light yellow with a medium head. Aroma is bready with some grass. The taste is light and refreshing. Just a hint of hops with a strong bready background. Much better than the standard pilsners, but not world class.

I thought this was a really good version of a german pilsner! Nice bitterness to it, dry palate, quite enjoyable! While I seem to have a soft spot for Iowa beers, this isn't terrible!
