In this brew you can smell the aromas of mango, citrus and stone fruits. Let the aroma take you to the tropics then taste the mix of fruit flavors followed by the slight bitterness on the front of your tongue off set by the balance of malts. Just like Major Andrew Holmes himself, this Imperial IPA is a little bit of a mystery as we will be utilizing different hops in huge quantities in each version including blends of 5 different hops and experimental varieties as they come available. The Major finishes nearly dry, leaving the lingering fruitiness with a very slight bitter note letting you know it is really an Imperial IPA.
