Mill Street Belgian Style Wit is a refreshing beer made with a unique blend of ingredients. The soft texture and pale colour comes from the use of wheat, coriander, orange peel and our special yeast produce the complexity and depth of fruity flavours contained within the glass. This beer is unfiltered. The resulting cloudiness gave rise to the term Wit, or White beer.

Arrived with a slice of orange but rated without. Has a thin layer of head. A hazy yellowish colour would describe the appearance, with less at bottom of glass. Aromas of cirtus hops. Very sweet tangy orange flavour, very citrusy, with hint of lemon/lime. Hops are prevalent, do not notice much malts quite at first, more in finish. Has good lacing and moderate retention and carbonation. Somewhat bitter aftertaste and sweet mouthfeel. A good summer beer.

Had this at the brewery. It is slightly cloudy, served with a lemon in a tall glass. Wheat beer is one of my favorites, I find all the wheat beers that i drink to be of somewhat equal quality. good for me! Nov 18 2012

Another very good beer from the wonderful people at the Mill Street Brewery. This beer pours a cloiudy gold colour and the aromas are spiccy coriander and malt. The taste is slightly sweet, light, and refreshing.

The beer poured a cloudy light lemonade colour with very little head. The aroma had sour hints to go along with some citrusy notes and wheat. The mouthfeel was light to medium bodied (quite thin) with only mild carbonation. The flavour was sour wheat malt and some citrus. One of the worst witbiers I have tried

Pours a cloudy deep yellow. Good fruity/cirtus smell. Smooth mouthfeel. Really a good beer. After you swallow a strong floral flavour comes out and hangs around in your mouth long after the sip. After drinking a bunch of these the aftertaste really gets quite annoying, however.

Light yellow until I dumped in the sediment, a big foamy white cap with awesome retention and ropy lacing. I first thought that I smelt banana but I'm pretty sure that I was thinking I would find it, so my brain did. Slight floral hop and a musty spice dominate. Decent flavour which comes out when warmer (again), tart, some coriander, and a weak lemony citrus to finish it of. Standard mellow / watery taste but it doesn't matter - I like this stuff. The mouth feel is kind of dry and seems flat. Mild and drying, it finishes with a muted spicy aftertaste.

Nice decent aroma and lots of frothy white head. Alot of body but not alot of bite on this Belgian inspired brew. The attack is a bit bitter with a bit of a fruity finish, lingers on the palate for awhile. Decent session brew, another solid effort by Mill Street

Awesome, Mill Street's white beer at the LCBO. I love wit beer, and Mill Street brews are always good. Pours a cloudy light golden-yellow colour with a big creamy white head that has great retention. The nose is big on the corriander side with notes of oranges. The mouthfeel is medium-full bodied with not much sticking, but great refreshment. The taste is pretty mild, with a smooth mix of hop, spices and fruits. Nothing really sticking out, appealing to the mass market. What I love about witbiers, is that they are great in wintertime, and in summertime too... and this brew is no exception. Still, I prefer my Unibroue Blanche de Chambly and Boréale Blanche.

I was worried when I read that this was a 'flavoured' beer. It pours a golden yellow with a white head. The aroma is slightly hoppy with some definite citrus notes. The flavour was very weak, and not enjoyable.

This beer absolutely kicks some serious ass. I've always preferred Hefe's to Wit's, but oh man I could drink this cousin to the Hefe all night long. Makes Hoegaarden look like Bud. Mill Street has done it again! Cheers!
