Brown beer, transparent with a very heavy, very tiny sediment that drops to the bottom. Little carbonation, touch of peach at the edge of the glass. Very sour and some funk to the aroma, hints of what could be a light toasted barrel aging. I forgot this was a strawberry beer. If you think of how brilliant and sweet wild strawberries are, this is that bright and acidic and sour. I liked. Better as it warmed a bit.

A little more sour and a little less fruit than the kriek. Redish gold. Big funky vinegar aroma and flavor. Dry and lacking sweetness, and the strawberry takes a backseat to the tang. Not bad, but a little pricey for just a "good" beer. One timer.

Body appears to be light gold with a slight pink hugh, a tall rocky cap disappears quickly. Heavy sour aroma, big funk, hints of vinegar, candied strawberries and other things of yum. Flavour is big and funky, vinegar, only hints of strawberry. After taste is bitter and reminds me of a old dusty shed. So dry, so very dry. More funk, lots of tart, flavor has depth, complex, easy to slam.
