WOW! What a wicked cool bizarre beverage! Is this safe to drink? When cold, the coffee is prevelant, very sour, something like tart blueberry and some wet forest moss. Colour is tinted yellow with light sediment. "Flavours are a mess", absolutely, not for the faint of heart. Lots of funk and all kinds of sour and gueze everything! Let it sit on the back of your tonunge and youll have shivers down your spine, if you like the shivers thats another thing. Once it was quite warm, coffee is completely gone and left is yeast, muffins, slight clove, tart and sour fruits, some cranberry concentrate and some sticky malty sweet aromas. I can dig this, and would drink again, but not everyday. Nope....

having this before ever trying the base geueze or any of the fruit varieties may have been a mistake. After the fact, I gotta say, as much as I love coffee beers, this combination of flavors is not one i'd seek out again. at first the coffee is the main player in the aroma, but it fades into an equal share with the stinky cheese aspects of the base. the flavors are just a bit of a mess. nothing bad, but very odd together - no way any of us would have wanted a bottle to ourselves.
