Bottled 2nd time as Spontanwhitegrape. The mellowest I've had. Slightly wine like with grape skin and green apple at the forefront. Not very sour or deep. Enjoyable, but not worth over a buck an ounce.

Picked up in Edmonton at Sherbrooke. Sour beer, but not too sour, like most of the spontas seem to be. Lots of apple, but with white wine (dry riesling) characteristics showing up like rubber and granny smith. Simple, clean, light in body, drinks like champagne but not nearly at all dry or cracker like that, more like oaked, dry chardonnay in mouthfeel (with none of the associated flavours or profiles). Clear golden body with champagne like bubbles floating to the top forming a tall noisy crown. Big sour nose with funk and white grape. Aroma is sharp and cutting but pleasant, green apple, watermelon jolly ranchers, pungent cheese.....this aroma has it all. Pungently sharp with a powerful sourness. I get more green apple then grape but i do taste both. Blackness and bitter are left at the back my throat after ever sip. So simple tasting and clean, I'm finding my self just pounding this back. This is awesome lambic...GO DENMARK!!
