an average aroma didn't inspire, but it was easy drinkin enough. 95 ibu provided plenty o bitter in the finish. citrus peel, grassy flavor, with a hint of spice.

Thanks Mikkeller for providing this single hop series -- It's both educational and Tasty! The brew pours a nice coppery orange, but flavor is a nice modern intense hoppy blend of pine and grapefruit. The complexity is slightly shallow, but that is to be expected as it is a "single hop" concoction. All in all an enjoyable beverage.

Pours flat amber with a low head. Aroma is hoppy and floral. Mouthfeel is dry. Flavor is unique as hell, great balance of hops and zesty citrus and good stuff.

Aroma is fairly hoppy with a citrus overtone, mainly grapefruit and sour orange. It pours a slightly hazy mahogany, darker than most IPAs I have sampled, with a very thick and fluffy pale orangy-tan head that leaves some nice lacing. Flavor is quite hoppy, if not overwhelmingly so, a little bitter with hints of citrus and even a whisper of caramel. Texture is smooth and just a little edgy and fizzy. Definitely worth at least a try.

Very nice IPA with floral/pine hop flavor. This is my fifth beer from Mikkeller’s Single Hop IPA series, and it’s another winner. The beer is a dusky orange color with a creamy off-white head that leaves good lacing. The aroma is mostly hops, floral dominant with a touch of pine, with some bready malt lingering beneath. Flavor adds more pine resin flavor from hops and does an excellent job displaying this strong variety. Thankfully, Mikkeller knows how to make a good IPA. This beer is pleasantly dry with just enough malt to bring out the hop flavors. It’s not really feasible, but I’d love to try the entire lineup in a side-by-side tasting. Anyway, this is an interesting experiment in brewing and, more importantly, a very good beer.

Pours out in a hazy reddish amber colour with a rich creamy off-white head. Dryish aroma of spicy hops, lemon-zest, mild pine, tea, wormwood and grass. Medium-bodied with notes of dryish spicy hops, orange-peels, lemon-zest, cedar, mild gooseberry and grass. Long bitter and really dry, almost astringent finish of grass, tea, lemon-zest and mild pine.
