Citrus peel and a little spice seem to be the dominant players in this particular single Hopper from Mikkeller. I like it. Probably middle if the road or so for the series, but nice.

Another in the Milleller single hop series. Chinook has a pour of light copper color with a hazy clarity and fairly long lived head. Body is full with generous hops flavor. The piney citrus flavor start out a bit mild but as the bottle is finished off there is a cumulative effect that continues with the drinker for some time to remind him of the tasty bottle that has just been consumed.

Sampled on 4/19/2010. This IPA pours a slightly hazy orange gold color from a 33cl bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is piney and herbal. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. Hints of orange and citrusy. The hops are herbal, piney and citrusy. Nice balance. Good carbonation. High alpha bitterness, kind of lasts a while. Crisp and dry at the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is bitter.

Pours out in an unclear brownish orange colour with a small creamy off-white foam. Robust hop aroma of pine, red grapefruit, mild cedar and grass. Medium-bodied with notes of grapefruit and grass with notes of caramel and figs. Bitter finish of grass, grapefruit and cedar.
