Bottled@Pikkulintu. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is coffee, some roasted malts, ashes and liquorice. Flavour is coffee, nuts, some toasted notes as well as mild notes of wood and dark dry fruits. Rather balanced withonly some slight barrel notes.

The name says it all, this is truly a geeky beer. A very dark brew, an oatmeal stout base with a generous amount of coffee thrown in for good measure. The brew has a nice typical oatmeal sweetness but the coffee give and additional measure of complexity. The brew is much more than hop flavored coffee -- A worthy find.

Bottle, RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg. Black colour, low head. Lovely but fairly moderate aroma of whisky cask (oak), vanilla and coffee, hints of dark chocolate and alcohol too. The flavour has distinct notes of alcohol, smooth whisky and coffee, warming mouthfeel. An enjoyable brew.
