Orange/yellow body. Really lasting white head. Smell is characterisitic of pampkin spiced ales. Heavy on sweet cinnamon and all spice. Dry and biscuity. I didn't see the pumpkin pie early on, but im picking it up now. something slightly like pie crust in the finish. Medium bodied, slightly prickly. I find it slightly more sweet, and in fact pick up nothing bitter in the taste, only in a latent salivating, giving the impression of balance. Some slight apple tones show up in the aroma, which I find slightly unnervind but not enough to deduct points for. Overall, I can drink this, but it is not a style I would choose to drink more than a couple times a year in the first place. When I smell more I get hints of candy, briefly, raisin candies, if those existed. Risking here what seems to be a half finished review, but I seem unable to go on. Two Dimensional.

Sampled from bottle passed on to me by Caddylac from a bottle in a case of low-fills given to him by one of the employees at the brewery. Pours clear dark copper with a creamy white head and remarkable lacing. The aroma is JUST like pumpkin pie. Holiday spices outweigh the bready, nitty malts. Highly drinkable for the style - its quite balanced and not sticky sweet like many holiday beers. Medium-bodied. Probably the best pumpkin beer I've had to date.

From a bottle in a case of low-fills given to us by one of the employees at the brewery. Pours a clear copper color. Aroma is unbelievable. I'm a fan of pumpkin/spiced beers, but this is the absolute best I've ever smelled. It's like having a piece of pumpkin pie in a glass. Flavor follows up and it tastes like I just had a piece of pie. In fact, I'm tempted to put some whipped cream on it to complete the illusion. Awesome pumpkin beer. Definitely one of the best I've ever had. Hope they begin shipping to the KC area so I can get more of it.

Pours with an orange amber body topped by a thin to medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. It smells and tastes like pumpkin pie...nuff said. Medium bodied and smooth with a touch of dryness.
