For a while before I saw the light of craft beer, this was my light lager of choice. Perhaps it was the idea that Michelob was a premium version of Bud Light or maybe the lack of "beer flavor" that kept me coming back. I would still take this over Bud or Miller Lite though.

Pours a VERY light straw color with perfect clarity and strong carbonation with a white colored head with pathetic retention/lacing. The aroma has the typical grainy notes most light macros. The taste isn't good, which is not expected. There is a slightly rough tone of rice adjuncts at first, and that slimy aftertaste but otherwise, there's almost no flavor at all. The mouthfeel is like carbonated water.

Bottle: Poured a golden color lager with a fizzy pure white head with minimal retention and no lacing. Aroma of sweet malt with light corn notes is bland and not that enjoyable. Taste is also a bland mix between some sweet malt with light adjunct notes (I know the label states all-malt lager but I have a hard time believing this). Body is light with good carbonation. Bland lager and not something that need to be revisited.

I think I like this beer more than any other Bud/Busch products as the there's a little more flavor with this beer, but it is still pretty close to swill.

Standard light beer not to bad not to good. Average apperance, aroma, flavor and mouthfeel of any light beer. Good thing about it is that its not offensive in anyway.

Pours a light golden/yellow with thin white head and some lace. Fresh aroma of hops, malts, and light lemon. The mouthfeel is zesty, smooth, and full-bodied. Flavor of malts, light hops, grassiness, lemon, and some tart/bitter. Some corn, but no complaints.

This was what all the "cool" people drank when I was growing up - folks with big mustaches, hairy chests with their shirt unbottoned and gold chains around the necks. So, naturally I had to try it. It was better than Budweiser.

This is probably one of my "favorite" lite cheap beers, but that's not saying much. It has an OK smooth taste, but after 1 or 2, I can't handle anymore of this watered down stuff.

Pale golden with a creamy, white head. Slightly sweet nose. Very thin-bodied with sweetish, malty accents and imprints from the corn or rice used. No bitterness.

i believe this one is ok but the only reason i would buy it is by accident reaching for michelob regular. And that is unlikely because the labeling is some much different.
