I was very pleasantly suprised with this beer. It is one of the best of its type I have experienced. If you are a porter, ale, or stout fan you really should try this brew. Good value and excellent quality.

Brown colored brew with a full head. Aroma was slightly flowery, but overall weak. Very light in body - watery mouthfeel. The beer's flavor was bland at first and was quickly invaded by a metallic flaw that ruined the experience. Not a very good brew.

one of the better beers to come out of this brewery. some raosted flavor and even some hops. but i must agree with those above me, isn't a black in tan in the bottle just a watered down porter. never really understood it either about bottled black and tans

Dark brown color, large head. Roasted malts, medium hopped. Light bodied ‘Black and Tan’; this one is a combination of lager and porter. Good flavor. Mouthfeel is round. Finish is smooth and clean. Aftertaste is malty.

I actually like this stuff despite what i thought about their irish amber. For a dark beer this was smoother than i expected. This goes good with a nice piece of barbequed meat.

A brew by the "hometown" brewery. Not one of the better black & tan beers on the market. The appearance is quite nice, but when it comes to the flavor it just didn't do it for me.

Good beer, but I don't go out of my way to drink it. Black and Tan in a bottle kind of defeats the whole allure of Black and Tan.

GOOD BEER, BUTR I NEVER UNDERSTOOD THE IDEA OF A BLACK AND TAN IN A BOTTLE. HOPPY, YET NICE MOUTHFEEL. THE AROMA IS PLEASANT. GOOD SUDS FOR SURE.

It does have good flavor, nice head and that delicious dark color, but the overall flavor to me had a touch of bitterness that made me favor, say, the Yuengling Black and Tan over this one.

A so - so beer, nice dark color, creamy rich head and some lace. Light malt at the start, a bit malt sweet at the middle, and a bit of hops at the finish. Light to medium body and carbonation. Drinkable, but nothing to get excited about.
