Aroma is typical of a lager, crisp and malty and a little fruity. It pours a nice clear amber with a fairly thick and fluffy ivory head. Crisp, malty flavor is quite refreshing with a firm fruity note. Smooth texture has average thickness - actually seems a wee bit thicker than most pale lagers - and a decent fizz, though it doesn't persist. Average all around, but shows that the French can make beer.

Clear yellow with white foam head. Aroma is bitter hops, taste is nice bitter pilsener. Good beer with the perfect lunch at a local restaurant. Short aftertaste. (Strasbourg 201207)

Pours a pale gold with a immense head then shrinks back down to small white head and leaves a ring of lace. The aroma is mild and consists of corn sugar and grain with no hops. The taste is thin and slightly citrussy with a sweet cracker malt base and adjunct sweetness. The mouthfeel is paper thin and refreshing.

It pours golden with a thin white head and a surrounding ring of lacing. A grassy aroma of malts, hops, lemon and citrus, funk, and pepper and spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of skunky beer .. sour malts, hops, lemons/citrus, bitterness, and light pepper and spice. Too sour...

330 ml green bottle, now available in Norway. The label only says "Meteor Bière d’Alsace". ABV is 4.6%. Crystal clear pale golden colour, big white head. Initially a citrussy and sweetish Heineken-like aroma (an American would probably say "skunky", but I don’t mind), the aroma sort of "dies" in the glass. Fairly "clean" pale lager flavour, moderately sweet and slightly citrussy, very moderate hops, not offensive but far from exciting.
