An old English style of beer dating back to the times of the British Empire ( IPA means India Pale Ale ). It is essentially a strong and very hoppy beer with a fairly light colour. The hops and strengh kept the beer fresh for the long journey to the forces in India. The recipe for this beer contains two different types of malted barley and also three varieties of hops. Fuggles are use to give bitterness and Goldings and Progress are added to give aroma.
