One year, at this great beer fest in America, we got a gold medal for 2x4. The next year, they did not let us enter the contest. So we decided to make a new beer from the future. That year’s winner will forever put an asterisk next to their gold medal. Brewed & dry-hopped with Mosaic.

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
12 oz can. Pours clear straw gold with a big fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass some.
The aroma is some bready malt with piney dank resiny hops.
The flavor is sweet bready malts with some fruit and a big dank resiny, slightly catty, hop bitterness with some alcohol in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a nice DIPA, but I remember liking it more on tap - fruitier and less catty and alcoholic.
