You can't always get what you want..... but sometimes you get lucky. It's all about the right hops, at the right time. This is how Melvin Grew Up. Fruity, Intense, but not bitter like the rest of them. As long as you don't take advantage, we think this is the hoppiest relationship you could ask for...hold my hand? ABV 7.5%

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

12oz cans pour with a clear copper gold body that supports a lasting near white head of foam. The aroma offers up a bit of fruit candy malts and then a fair amount of citrus hoppiness followed by a blend of floral hops and a hit of pine. The taste delivers a pleasing citrus to floral to slightly pine hop bitterness. The malts come together to create a nice level of thickness and slickness and depth. Another sip reveals growing floral hop bitterness added toward the finish. Solid West Coast IPA.

    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

12 oz can. Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a big meringue white head that retains well and laces the glass some.

The aroma is sweet bready malt, soft fruit and lots of piney resiny hops.

The flavor is sweet fruity caramel malt with lots of resiny dank piney hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

    Overall, a very nice IPA.
