Bottled@Helsinki Beer Festival 2011 (As Meinel-Bräu Dunkel, 4.3 %, but I suppose the Dunkel is the same brew as this one). Deep rubiyish amber colour with a small head. Aroma is roasted malts, some dark dry fruits, chocolate, quite bready and also some mild notes of diacetyl. Flavour is quite much the same. Pleasant and refreshing dunkel.

Bottle. Poured a clear amber brown with reddish tones colored beer with a huge beige creamy foamy head that had a good retention. Active carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is sweet roasted malts, dark bitter chocolate, caramel, herbal hay. The flavour is caramel malts, burned coffee beans, spicy, licorice and flowery. The palate is crispy and very smooth. This medium bodied beer has a sweet chocolate and roasted malts end. Very enjoyable and pleasant.
