Still ticking away at the countries list even after all these years. Your classic, refreshing, grainy, foreign lager. Not really any notes of corn which is nice. If I was in hot tropical climiate like Puerto Rico, I could see myself crushing a few of these bad boys by the beach. Yeah, I said it. Boom!

$2+ stateside, about .70 in PR. Not bad for what it is, but what it is is a standard pale lager. Nothing special but crisp and fairly clean, no obnoxious or offensive attributes. Light hops and sweetness. Refreshing cold.

I'm sorry but to me this is just another nasty Light beer. I would like to try a non- light if they produce one. Even though this was served ice cold I still wasn't able to drink the whole bottle.

pours with a thin white head and a clear, fairly bubbly, straw color with little lace. The aroma is of sweet, bready barley malt and a shadow of a hop sting. The taste is of sweet bread, lemon, paper, a touch of syrup, and a kiss of hops. The mouthfeel is light and watery, and finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, mostly dry, extremely drinkable, and delicious. What a wonderful surprise! This might be the best mass-produced light beer on the market. I rate this one excellent.

It's a really crisp and refreshing light beer to my surprise. It's an island favorite along with the dominican Presidente beer, but for what it's worth Medalla is a good beer for it's price. Cheap at local bars, usually purchasing a 10oz bottle is roughly 2 bucks. I bought a six pack at a market while visiting for only $5.75! I was very pleased and wish that somehow I could get this one here in the U.S. If anyone knows how or where please let me know!

Drank this one in old San Juan, decanted into a plastic cup. I know Puerto Rico makes a couple of other beers, but this was the only one I could find, and it was EVERYWHERE. The head was a thin and foamy white, which matched perfectly the piss-yellow body. Aroma was somewhat perfumed. The taste and mouthfeel were ideally suited to this light swill, as was the finish. I only drank this beer so as to "collect" another country.

one word - Delicious. I drank this beer in Rincon, PR for weeks. At $11 for a 24 pack it cant be beat. This beer is a celebration, its absolutly fantastic. There is nothing better after a solid 8 hour surf session. Its light, refreshing, and just down right good. Its the only light beer that I would consider just chilling on unlike natty light, keystone, bud. Its deffinatly a must try

The prototypical light lager from a warm weather climate. Pale golden in color with a light soapy head. Crisp malt aroma with a tinnish aroma. Very little body and light in mouthfeel. Sweet malty aroma and flavor - totally non-offensive by design. A bit of a cidery finish. Unlike most warm weather beers this one seemed to be a bit tastier as it warmed up a bit. Perhaps it was my luck in the casino that made it taste better!

Local beer of Puerto Rico, it's flavor for a ligth beer in my opinion is better than a coors ligth or bud ligth, never have seen it outside of Puerto Rico, sometimes its as cheap as $.75 per can on gas stations
