Twenty five pounds of Crystal 30 malt gives the Red Rock IPA its lovely red hue. Remember, the higher the number the darker the malt. So it’s darker than most of the IPA’s we put out at Oak Hills but if you compare it to a hammerhead ale (C-75 is used) you will see the difference in crystal malts.
