Strong earthy, grassy and almondy aroma with touches of wood and peat. Dry earthy flavour with notes of dark chocolate, toffee and red apples. Rather full and robust body. Long dry, bitter aftertaste of soil, nuts and salt. Very nice full-bodied and tasty bitter served in perfect condition.

Cask at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Amber coloured with good white head, nice lacing. Light, malty, hoppy and fruity. Good stuff,had a few.
