A delectable blonde ale with sprightly fruitiness, soft malting, and a slightly dry, gently-hopped finish. A sparkling nose, complex flavors, and a touch of bitterness give this 6% beer all the refreshing qualities of classic Blonde ale. This ale can be cellared standing upright, in a dark, cool place at 42-50° F, but we recommend immediate enjoyment of its refreshing qualities.

Comes out of the tap a beautiful clear golden amber with a fairly thick and fine-bubbled pale buff head. Malty aroma has hints of butterscotch and yeast. Bold flavor starts with a slightly sweet malty core and adds notes of honey and butterscotch plus hints of yeast and hops. Texture is firm and smooth, if not too fizzy. A worthy Belgian.

Pours a cloudy blond with no head to think of. Decent amount of carbonation in the glass. Bottle has a bit of sediment in the bottom. Aroma is very sweet and typical of beer from the area. Taste is full of bananas and bread. Sweet through the ending. Aftertaste is somewhat non-existent. This is the beer style that a lot of American Belgian styles mimic. A lot have tasted the same and it is quite pleasant. I like it.

Golden yellow white foam, sticking to glass. Nice bitter hop taste with some soil tones, quite carbonated. Aftertaste is an interesting one, it changes, but ending up with little bitter barley tones. Velp 201204

For a Belgian, nothing really stands out here....still a solid smooth-tasting brew though. Would be a bit steep for $3.25 retail, but got 1/2 off clearance sale figured worth a try. Definitely was, and for $1.65 will see if they have couple more of these. A nice blond, with some hop to it and some fruity background notes. Cloudy blond to medium-yellow appearance with creamy white head. Like a lighter version Urquel Hop-It.

Nice! Pours dark golden yellow with a big white head. Great lacing. Aroma is yeasty and sweet with a bit of floral. Flavor is also sweet with a bit of pepper.

Sampled on 9/1/2011. This Belgian ale pours a slightly cloudy medium orange gold from a 33cl bottle. Large sized white foamy head with nice lacing and long lasting retention. The aroma is fruity and sweet, yeasty and spicy. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and spicy. Yeasty, fruity and sweet, but balanced by some medium bitterness hoppiness. Decent carbonation. Nice dry finish but still has some residual sweetness. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

This beer pours a cloudy medium golden colour with a light tan coloured cap. The aroma is dominated by yeast, citrus, and spices..........almost tripel like in aroma. Flavour is dominated by the citrus and spices, although the yeast and light fruit tones do come through in the end. A well done Belgian ale.........not a world beater, but not a slouch either

A nice hazy golden amber colour in the very attractive Maredsous glass it came with. Tan head with some nice lacing. Smells slightly acidic fruity with a bit of malt. Spicy flavour. Medium mouthfeel and carbonation. Quite nice.

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber-honoey colored ale in the tulip. Sticky tight 3 finger white cap with good retention. Moderate carbonation. Aroma is quite pleasant; muskmelon-pear with candi sugar sweetness and a sturdy malt undertone. Peppery carbonation drives a burst of flavor up front, pear cider with a drop of honey balanced perfect with a medicinal bittering from Styrian goldings. The finish goes very dry and carries a bittering note to a crisp clean end. Overall a very pleasant fruity dry Belgian pale ale...drinks well.

The beer poured a hazy golden orange with a thin, rocky, tan coloured cap. The aroma light fruits, yeast, and citrusy hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is yeast, hops, and a slight fruity sourness. A pretty good beer.
