The ancient ritual of brewing a distinctly rich and flavorful beer is a performance to behold. Our mysterious melange of time-honored ingredients harmonize with chaotic chemistry, humble patience, and blind faith to create this unique beer to share in the rousing company of kindred spirits. Cheers!

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear reddish gold with a small off white head that quickly goes to a thin collar.
The aroma is sweet biscuity caramel malts, honey, some fruit and a little spruce that comes out as it warms.
The flavor is sweet bready malts that quickly is dominated by a big spruce bitterness. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied and a bit watery.
Overall, interesting one-dimensional spruce beer. -

I would say that this is barely an ESB. More like an amber/copper or whatever. Not much bitter here. A little weak on the malt. Flavor is barely a 7, but besides that pretty much an average brew. A "miss" by Magic Hat in my opinion.
