Clear golden yellow with decent lasting white foam head, lacing to glass. Aroma is typical for a pilsener, some more hops may be. Taste is nice bittersweet, with decent time aftertaste. Went well with dear meat we were having. (Arnhem 201211)

250 ml bottle, as Maes Pils, at the Manneke Pis, Tenerife. ABV is 5.2%. Pale golden colour, big to moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of honey and flowers. Thin mouthfeel. Bland flavour, but some hops in the finish.

Good no nonsense pilsner here. I really love this stuff. It's so light and airy. Especially with mussels and fries at Restaurant 'T Kelderke in the Grande place. It goes down smooth. Way too smooth. Maybe I'll have another.

Pale golden colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma of hops, metal, paper and caramel. Flavour is sweet malts and hops with lots of metal. Not too pleasant.

pours a very light yellow colour with a nice head, not very hoppy, fresh and dry - not much to see here but I agree with Wrikolakas: this is surely one of the 1000 best Belgian beers ...

Very good pilsener. I could dare to say, that Maes is one of the best Belgian beers. Good in any occasion. Plus it is very refreshening beer, with so delicate flavour of hop. Why not 10 for overall? Not that very exclusive.
