Growler. This fizzes like crazy - not like New Year’s champagne, but enough that one should have a thirsty towel handy - or be ready to pour it quickly. Pours a nice clear mahogany with a thick (as I said, it fizzes!) pale buff head. Crisp, malty aroma has an undertone of sharp apple. Flavor is malty and a little fruity, not particularly strong but still enjoyable with its subtle woody hop undertone. Finish is malty with subtle hoppy and fruity notes. A dandy ale worthy of a try.
