Funny review from BradPear. Never met the dude but I can picture him saying it. Not really a IIPA I'd say. Pretty clean and not well hopped but refreshing nonetheless. Clear golden-orange. Big head. Nose is subtly hopped, not a lot of fruit but definitely some grass. Flavors are average. About par for the course.

A symphony of notes to the mouth! The symphony may be a modern dissonant one with little clashes of hoppy movements, but the entire program is a memorable experience. This brew is one to sip and think about -- the 100 IBU.s enforceabley arrest the pallet and make you stop and taste the music.

after the greatness that was the ba doppelbock, this was a letdown. average beer at best, far below average double ipa, especially from the Pacific NW. Maybe old, but again, no date. muddled malts and some hop bitterness in the flavor, but little aroma to speak of. another meh. Better second time

Another Lompoc beer that I tried at the Hedge House location in Portland. pretty hoppy but had a nice malt backbone. Still very average, which is all I've ever experienced from this brewer.

Not so "Imperial" at 6.9%, but Cnote (name comes from 100IBU and all hops start with C how cute...) is a decent scoop. The best thing bout it is on Mondays you can get a pint for $2.00-at the prices bring it on! Flavors? Normal IPA-we all know the drill. But did I mention it is $2 on Mondays??!!

Medium orange color. Small head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. A medium bodied imperial pale ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are fairly aggressive, grapefruity, piney and bitter. The hop bitterness really comes across at the finish. Touches of orange and citrus. A little watery and thin. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
