In a 1920 storm, a Plainfield farmer’s pig was found sleeping on the kitchen table, having been thrown from the pen. Like that powerful storm, this Imperial India Pale Ale is at the top of the scale with 110 IBUs and alcohol to match. Our mash tun nearly overflowed while mashing-in due to the amount of grain used to make it. Hoppy, warming, with some balancing residual malty sweetness make this a great after-dinner sipper.

So at the very end of the GTMW, I convinced the dude behind this tent to fill up my growler with the IIPA. He did and we had one hell of a party with it afterwards. Bright orange, big white head. Citrus, pine, fresh flowers and cinnamon on the nose. TAste is hoppy, clean and very fresh. Tatse has some soft caramel undertones near the finish.
