This is the 2nd beer in the Lighthouse Big Flavour Series. Navigator Doppelbock is a traditional strong dark lager, brewed with a Munich malt base for richness and depth of flavour. Navigator was hopped with restraint and cold fermented with our true lager yeast to showcase the quality ingredients and the craftsmanship of this beer.

From Firefly. Pous a creamy tan head over a body of rich and clear dark amber. Lots of malt for the nose, along with a small amount of hops. Flavour also had lots of malt but far less sweetness than I'd feared. Solid and smooth mouthfeel, and not too sweet at the finish.
