Black color. Small head. Aroma is chocolate and toffee. A medium bodied oatmeal stout. Malts are roasted and very sweet. Lots of molasses, brown sugar, touches of whisky barrel. Seems a little lactic. Very smooth taste. This beer is missing the roasty malts are the chewyness of an oatmeal stout. Nice tasting beer but it seems more of an imperial porter than a stout. Alcohol is present. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
