341 ml capped bottle. Poured an absolutly opaque and black coloured Schwarzbier with a minimal tan foamy head that had no retention. No carbonation. No lacing. The aroma is heavy roasted malts, roasted and/or burnt coffee beans, intense dark bitter chocolate. The flavour is quite the same, strong roasted malts, burnt coffee beans, dark chocolate, a point of acidity and a touch of smoke, an intense bitterness. The mouthfeel is fizzy and sparkling. This medium bodied Schwarzbier has a long burnt and bitter coffee beans finish. Not a so easy drinkable Schwarzbier but overall very tasting.

Dark brown red highlights a good quarter inch brown cap floating on top. Coffee, bakers chocolate, vanilla, sweet oak, some ash and out of place apple juice this was a very nice slightly complex aroma. Beautiful ashy-coffee flavor that doesn’t finish to bitter. Brew seems very sweet and malty, keep getting hints of clove in the flavor. Bitterness really starting to show up now and apple when brew gets warmish. Mostly I just taste ash tray. Good beer drinkable but not that memorable.

Motor oil in a can. A black beer with a just a thin ring-like head. The aroma is sweet roasted malt and coffee. The coffee bitterness really comes through in the taste, but is very pleasant at the same time.

Bottle: Poured a clear black color lager with a nice medium brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry coffee with some light roasted malt. Taste is also dominated by light roasted malt with some distinctive dry coffee notes. Body is slightly thin form the style with some good carbonation. Well done and something I wouldn’t mind having on a regular basis.
