quart bottle: Poured a lightly hazed honey-gold ale. smallish cap..light surface lace. Interesting aroma: light biscuit and honey tones with some herbal-spicy-grassyness and a light mustiness. AND (am I dreaming) a thin coffee aroma?? Thin mouth feel, sour-citrus character. Thin pale malts, pervasive sour-musty citrus tastes and very earthy...yet dry and spritzy in the finish....never had anything like this...odd uncomplimentary flavors all in one place...nothing seems to gel into a cohesive flavor profile...and way too thin and watery.

This organic blonde beer pours a cloudy blonde colour with a small creamy white head. Retention is short-lived, but lacing is pretty thick all around. Lots of sediments at the bottom of the bottle. Written on label that this one is brewed with barley, oatmeal, kamut, wheat and rye. Smells like the mix between a hefeweizen and a witbier. Some light sourness, some lemon, some wheat and some white beer yeast. Thin-bodied with good average carbonation. Citrus is also found present in the taste, with the mild sourness, wheat and witbier yeast in the aftertaste. Seems like a brew that is about to go wrong, but I guess this is how it is brewed. At least nothing is really offensive here, but not pleasant either.
