330 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Les Fous glass a slight gushing and unfiltered hazy dark brown-red coloured ale with an exuberant two fingers beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Great lacing. Many floating sediments. The aroma is toasted malts, obvious notes of dark chocolate, hay, barnyard and herbal hops. The flavour is toasted malts, coffee beans, notes of brown sugar and herbal hops. The mouthfeel is creamy. This light to medium bodied ale has a dry hoppy bitter finish. For a 4.8 % ABV, a big tasting ESB, and a good one. I like it.
