Watch out when opening these D'Ham brews, as they are under big pressure, and if you try and mix the stuff at the bottom of the bottle... it will start fizzy right after opening. Looks like a brown ale, with a cloudy deep brown colour and red highlights. The off-white head is huge and creamy, with lots of retention and great lacing. The nose has bite to it, like a bitter alcohol aroma with red apples. Lightly-bodied mouthfeel with a mild creaminess. Big metallic taste with the fruit appearing here again. Light roasted malt, and not too offensive, but just not exciting my senses for a beer on the lie. Still worth checking out... and waiting for new products.

Bottle: Poured a hazy deep brown color ale with a generous foamy head with better then average retention. Aroma of sweet malt with some typical Belgian yeast. Taste is dominated by rather bid Belgian malt with some sweetness from candi sugar, which is pleasant, but ends with some metallic aftertaste, which I did not, enjoyed. This beer is not bad but it is not that great either. Hopefully this is a sign that the brewery is developing and better product will be available.
