Le mélange de plusieurs malts caramel et chocolat nous offre cette couleur foncée, ce goût de chocolat, voire de café et cette rondeur en bouche. Sa mousse onctueuse et crémeuse enrobe une amertume relativement franche.

Had this at Les 3 Brasseurs in Reims a few weeks ago. Pours a clear chestnut brown with a medium sized frothy head. Aroma is almondy, a little biscuit malt and some faint hops. Taste is rather filling, well carbonated and nutty.

Bottled (as La Scotch des 3 Brasseurs, 4.8%) (2nd CS/ES Beer Gathering, thanks SV!). Dark ambery brown colour with a mediumsized yellowish beige head that leaves some lace. Aroma is malty, yeasty, a bit spicy and also has some rather strong roasted and ashy notes. Flavour is strong roasted malts, some caramel, mild spices, yeast and earthy notes. As it warms up the ashyness shows a bit more as well.
