Organic Portland Roast Espresso Stout is a collaboration between the Laurelwood brewery and Portland Roasting. The beer features a blend of Ethiopian and Sumatran coffees specially selected by the Head Brewer at Laurelwood. The Organic and farm friendly coffees blend nicely with their smooth and mellow organic stout. The roasted character of the ale is nicely complimented by the coffee flavor and aroma.

Had this for breakfast. Pleasant fresh coffee aroma and flavor with just enough roasted malt, chocolate and hops to balance. A touch thin on the palate, but not watery. Good call for the a.m.

Fresh coffee aroma with licorice and chocolate. Dark black color withou just about no foam. Full body and lacking carbonation. Bitter sweet finish. Slightly acidic and sour. Not the best coffee stout I've had but still good. Could use some more diversity in the flavor.
