This beer goes to show how important timing is when hoping a beer. 80 ibu wou;d seem to indicate an adequately hopped beer, but this was a soft palated, malty-sweet beer that was light on the florals and citrus or pine, and the only bitterness came on the back end after you swallowed. Not a total miss only because the malt character wasn't alltogether bad, but as an IPA, not enough.
