Purchased in Antwerp during shopping visit. Nice color and good foam head, lacing to glass. Some fruit traces, but overall a nice bitter tripel, nothing special, just nice. (Velp 201112)

Bottle: Poured a light amber ale with a big foamy head with good retention but little to no lacing. Aroma of sweet candi sugar with some very light spices and yeast. Taste is also dominated with some cloying sweetness with some hints of spices. Texture is somewhat oily and cloying with a medium body and no alcohol was discernable. Definitely lacking some character to make this one truly appalling.

This Tripel pours a medium gold color form a 750ml cork finished bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is sweet, tropical fruit and yeasty. Medium bodied triple. Lots of tropical fruit flavors, some spices and bright yeasts. Nice carbonation. Very drinkable, but nothing that stands out. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

Nothing on this beer really stands out. There was some soap character in the nose to go with the grass. Flavor is metallic mostly, with some clay-like character and some sweetness which made the whole thing sort of odd. Quite the plain tripel.

I had this from a bottle shared by Dr. Bill at his 12 hour Beer Extravaganza. It poured a clear golden color with a white frothy head. The flavor was very mild; nothing really stood out.

Golden colour, creamy white head. Strong fruity nose along with hops and some yeast. Strong sweet fruity flavour with hints of straw- and blueberry mix. Rich carbonation, but fits the beer. A bit sticky palate afterwards.

Bottle. Hazy carbonated golden colour with large rocky head. Aroma is fruity and spicey with some yeast, hops and candy sugar. Sweet, sugary, some hops, some wheat, quite spicey. Light to medium, carbonated mouthfeel. I like this quite a lot, and I'm not overly partial to triples.
