Bottle: Poured a clear brown color ale with a small off-white foamy head with limited retention. Aroma of nutty caramel malt is a bit weak. Taste of caramel and toffee malt is dominant but a bit weak for the style. Body is a bit watery and carbonation lively. Overall, this is not something that I would seek again and it is pretty mediocre for the style.

I was a bit disappointed, always expecting great products from this micro.Dark copper with minimal head, nice malt aroma;hint of sweet caramel flavor, right carbonation...Definitely missing roundness and complexity in the flavor to compete with great Scotch Ale.

Pours a dark auburn colour with an off-white tiny-bubbled head that has decent retention, but does not leave much lacing. Nice hop is present in the aroma, with some caramel and mild roasted malts. Good 3mm thickness of head stays on top, and lace is finally seen as a sip is taken. Active tiny bubble carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel, with the taste of caramel, light nut, roasted malt and hop. Not much bitterness and thin-bodied, but still a nice average scotch ale.

Poured a dark copper color with no head or lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, dry peatiness, and grains, though I swear my first reaction to this aroma was chicken noodle soup... strange? Taste of sweet caramel malts and smokey peat, with a thin mouthfeel. Rather disappointing.
