i've yet to try this in the bottle, but i'll rerate, or adjust, as it's been a while since the pub was open. this is a nutty, slightly above average interpretation of your standard brown, maybe with a very light spice profile as well. 2/20/09 had from the bottle...still nutty with a nice roasted aroma, good head...a little hint of funky things to come in the nose? something unpleasantly astringent, even olive-like in the flavor. not something i'll have again. tap was a 3.3-4, bottle is a 2.5ish, so i'll average the two...
