This exceptional beer is step-mashed with regional malts to which local wild rice is added into the brew (harvested locally on Shoal Lake). A unique mash bill gives the beer a distinctive flavour profile; full bodied with copper & nut with mild hop & all Northern Ontario.. Wild rice, also known as Manoomin, which translates into ‘the good berry’ in Ojibwe, has played a major role in the lives of Ojibwe people in our region for centuries.
