Lakeside is one of Kenora’s first neighbourhoods with many of its homes situated on the shores of Lake of the Woods, spattered with small beaches, boathouses & docks. Lakeside is brewed using an old-world technique which produces a crisp, clean ale with lager characteristics. It is a delicate & subtle beer with a hint of malt & fruit in the nose.

The beer pours a slightly hazed gold colour with a very weak white ring for a head. The aroma is dominated by grains, yeast, and herbal hops. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, with average carbonation. The flavour is grains, light spice, and a weak bitter finish.

Very slightly unfiltered, bright yellow-straw colour with a frothy white cap, leaving some light tiny-bubble ring. Yeasty nose at first with citrus notes, then the graininess found in the style is what shows and stays. The taste shows as well the cereal grain malts with very light hops in the finish, showing some hints of spiciness found in Pils. The mouthfeel is a little on the crisp side with enough dryness to be refreshing.
