The beer poured a slightly hazed orange-red colour with a generous fluffly light tan head which didn't last very long. The aroma was all pumpkin at the start, but eventually grainy notes, weak spices, and musty hops filtered into the mix. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, although carbonation was light (the beer isn't even 3 weeks old!). The flavour started out with a tart fruity note before the bitter pumpkin notes set in. These were rounded out by the usual graininess and pumpkin pie spices. Nothing spectacular here. -

Pours a slight hazed amber colour with a beige head, decent stay and lacing. Pumpkin puree smell at first with the typical spices. Lots of butterscotch notes come out after breathing. The vanilla is an interesting addition, adding to the sweet aromas. In the taste, it is more of a normal pumpkin ale with the spices (nutmeg, cinnamon) and puree. Just a little on the mild side. Wish it had a little more bite, but good all around.
