"Be afraid! Be very afraid!! If you are not a Hop Head of the 11th dimension, do not even come near to this FAT CAT IPA from a Parallel Universe! It will swallow you and you never will be able to drink any beer ever in this Universe! I have come up with this 130 IBU 9% ABV monster to for ever settle the question if I am able and willing to provide you with an IPA so monstrous, that you will waive the white flag" Franz, Lagerhaus Braumeister

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9

On tap at the Lagerhaus. Pours a very deep striking copper colored body with lasting light tan head and assertive near sticky lacing. The aroma has fairly full notes of citrus, pine, grassiness, almost a wet hop sense and a thin layer of sweetness in the background that seems vaguely caramel like. The taste doesn’t mess around and gets right to the robust hop bitterness that tends to head into a sense of drying hop leaf astringency. Right at the start I get grapefruit, orange and pine sap. As the bitterness peaks about midway it sort of strips away the hop flavors for a moment or two to ensure you know this is a hoppy hoppy brew. It seems to go back and forth between citrus, pine and a chewy hop leaf sensation. I may have to floss my teeth after this to remove the hop flakes. It has an adequate backbone of malt sweetness that becomes faintly roasty into the finish as well as drying out further with the addition of slight hop astringency. If you want hops this beer will deliver them.
