The revival of a unique English stout, this brew combines five malts with 10% real oatmeal and hops from the Pacific Northwest. This black ale is full~bodied and roasty with hints of chocolate. Like mom always said: Drink Your Oatmeal!

Last beer I had on my recent visit to Lafayette. Shared it with Britt. The first time around, the ran it through some coffee beans which was pretty fricken awesome. Unfortunately, went for the full on Black Angus instead. Pitch black, not much a head, just a thin tan line on top. Taste is delicate, creamy and huge! Burnt toast, smoke and dirt on the palate. Aroma is sorta nutty, but otherwise burnt. Awesome beer!
